But what if I do everything right and it still does not work out?
It can often seem like no matter how hard we try, the change we want to see is just out of reach.
But what if the life you were made for does not depend on your effort?
What if the certainty you are looking for can only come from placing your trust in someone else’s plan?
Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.
Proverbs 19:21
The same God that created the world sees you right where you are. Your dreams, your struggles… he knows everything about you.
But he does not just know you…
He loves you more than you could ever comprehend.
His plans for you may not be what you had in mind, but you can trust that they are good.
Why should I trust God’s plan over my own?
You can trust in God’s plans because he has already proven just how much he loves you.
But—When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy.
He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit.
Titus 3:4-5
While our efforts can transform our bodies, our careers, and even our relationships, they can never earn us what we truly need. They can never cleanse our hearts or give us new life.
That is why God sent Jesus, his one and only Son, to the world. Jesus gave his life so we can have a new one–filled with the power and presence of his Spirit.
Letting go of our need for control can feel scary. That’s why we want to walk with you, so you can receive the peace that comes from trusting in God.
